Mahesh Mansukhani

Mahesh Mansukhani

Mahesh Mansukhani has 20 years of experience leading international businesses within multiple sectors, including leading a $1.1B revenue business unit at DuPont for three years (DuPont Tyvek®). Mahesh also spent three years heading up Global Marketing and Sales Effectiveness for all of DuPont. Most recently, Mahesh served as CEO of sBiomed, a start-up commercializing the revolutionary disinfectant, Steriplex®. Before this, Mahesh served five years as President of Össur, the second largest global manufacturer of non-invasive Orthopedic and Prosthetic devices ($450M in sales). Mahesh has also served at the leadership level within the Management Consultant industry, for AlixPartners (turn-around restructuring), Answerthink/Hackett Group, and Capital Consulting & Research (strategic consulting arm of Young & Rubicam). Mahesh gained his M.B.A. from Yale University in the U.S., and completed his undergraduate and Masters degree in Finance & Accounting in the U.K. More »

Joe Bono

Joe Bono

Joe Bono, founder of Solar Universe, has served on the board of directors since the company’s incorporation in 2008. He was Chief Executive Officer from March 2009 through April 2015, and currently is a consultant to the Company. Previously, Joe was the owner and franchisee of Quiznos franchises in Walnut Creek and San Francisco, California. From October 2000 to November 2002, he was a Consulting Manager and Technical Director EMEA for ViaFone, a mobile software company in Redwood Shores with offices in Paris, France. From 1998 to October 2000, he was the owner of ICSG Consulting, a software consulting firm in San Francisco, California. From 1996 to 1998, Joe served as a consultant for KPMG Consulting, a software consulting firm in Palo Alto. Joe possesses a Bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA. More »

Peter Gutman

Peter Gutman

Peter Gutman has over 25 years of global experience across investment banking, operations and private equity. He is currently a senior advisor to Standard Chartered Bank's Private Equity business and holds board seats at Seven Energy, Repower and PearlShare. At Standard Chartered, he defined the bank's global strategy for renewable energy & environmental finance as well as led their principal investing activities in the energy, resources & infrastructure vertical. Prior to that, he was the CFO and a board director of VNL, a media/tech (IPTV) company based in London (sold to Tiscali). He was an MD at both iFormation Group (an investment firm founded by Goldman Sachs and General Atlantic Partners) and at Goldman Sachs working across the Communications, Media & Technology group and PIA. Before this, he worked at Lehman Brothers, Booz Allen & Co and Arthur Andersen & Co. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan. More »

David Prend

David Prend

David J. Prend is Managing General Partner and co-founder of RockPort Capital Partners, a Boston and San Francisco-based venture capital firm focusing on investments in technologies in the energy, mobility and sustainability sectors. David currently serves on the Boards of several RockPort portfolio. In addition, he serves as a Director of the National Advisory Council for the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where he is also Chairman of the Solar Technology Review Panel. He is Chairman of the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation and a member of the Board of Trustees of the New Hampshire Nature Conservancy. David served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Venture Capital Association from 2007-2011. David began his career in the energy industry as an engineer at Bechtel, and has served in positions at Amoco, Shearson Lehman, and Salomon Brothers. In 1998, David co-founded RockPort Partners, a merchant bank specializing in the energy and environmental sectors and in 2000 he co-founded Rockport Capital Partners. David received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School. More »

Abe Yokell

Abe Yokell

Abe Yokell is a Partner at RockPort Capital Partners, a leading venture fund with offices in Boston and San Francisco, focused on Energy, Mobility, and Sustainability. Abe spearheaded the opening of RockPort’s California office in 2007. He has worked on investments in urban mobility, energy efficiency, green buildings, solar and efficiency financing, solar technology, energy storage, lighting, and smart grid. He is currently focused on urban mobility, the Internet of Things and related data, and financing platforms. Abe has been with RockPort for 12 years and has been directly involved in over 25 investments. He currently holds board seats at Renovate America, Repower, Flywheel Software, Qnovo, and EcoFactor, and was previously involved with Enphase Energy (NASDAQ: ENPH), Streetline Networks (acquired by Kapsch) Recurve (acquired by Tendril), and Eka Systems (acquired by Cooper Power), among others.
