Abe Yokell is a Partner at RockPort Capital Partners, a leading venture fund with offices in Boston and San Francisco, focused on Energy, Mobility, and Sustainability. Abe spearheaded the opening of RockPort’s California office in 2007. He has worked on investments in urban mobility, energy efficiency, green buildings, solar and efficiency financing, solar technology, energy storage, lighting, and smart grid. He is currently focused on urban mobility, the Internet of Things and related data, and financing platforms. Abe has been with RockPort for 12 years and has been directly involved in over 25 investments. He currently holds board seats at Renovate America, Repower, Flywheel Software, Qnovo, and EcoFactor, and was previously involved with Enphase Energy (NASDAQ: ENPH), Streetline Networks (acquired by Kapsch) Recurve (acquired by Tendril), and Eka Systems (acquired by Cooper Power), among others. Abe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Economics, Chemistry, and Biology.
